CHRISTMAS AT SEA

MSC Virtuosa has its own Christmas markets and plenty of festive cheer during its remaining winter sailings over the next month or so.

Guests can experience all the joy of a Christmas on board with magical markets, traditional carol singing and festive-themed parties, while exploring winter wonderland sceneries at stop offs including Le Harve, Amsterdam and Bruges.

There are also reports of a chocolate Santa.

I am actually going on the Christmas sailing of this cruise from 23 December so will report back.

It will be my fifth time on the Virtuosa and each sailing has got better, from better food, drink and parties.

This may coincide with the loosening of pandemic restrictions.

The ship is renowned for its parties, the infamous indoor shopping promenade with chocolate shop plus its Yacht Club is a great experience.

It will be interesting to see how the ship does Christmas and keeps guests entertained, especially as it will be too cold to sit by the pool.

But it is a good chance to drink eggnog at all times of day, it may just be hard to tell if it is me or the ship rocking!
